Entrepreneur Aaron Hope is the founder of AMH Construction, an Orlando-based firm that provides solutions for design/build construction projects nationwide. While still attending the University of Florida, Aaron landed an exceptional opportunity with Charles Perry Construction, where he gained valuable real-world experience in his chosen field of study. Consistently refining his craft, Aaron then accepted a two-year position with Coastal Construction, followed by a seven-year stint with Turner Construction, filling a pivotal role for the firm. After years of apprentice work, Aaron realized that his skill level was good enough for him to strike out on his own, so in 2010 he established his own company, AMH Construction. Since its founding, AMH Construction has become a nationwide leader in construction and project management. The company has built itself into a leader of ground-up, turn-key commercial construction, hospitality construction/renovation, multifamily construction/renovation, and general contracting services for pre-engineered metal buildings.
In his role for AMH Construction as Operations Manager, Stewart is responsible for leading teams in the execution of regional and national commercial construction projects while delivering an exceptional experience to clients, business partners, and employees. With a keen awareness for client goals and expectations, Stewart manages project teams to ensure that each client’s needs are specifically met and that every project is a success.
With a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a broad range of project involvement along the East Coast, Stewart maintains a strong foundation in construction excellence. Throughout his 20-plus years in construction, Stewart has gained diverse project experience, specializing in grocery, restaurant, and retail construction.
At AMH Construction, Project Manager Matthew Gibbons is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Matt holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in successful construction experiences.
With a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from The University of Central Florida, Matt has over 12 years' experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects, including infrastructure, higher education, restaurant, grocery, and retail projects for both public and private sector clients.
Matt also has a broad background in construction contract scenarios, including design-build, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), cost plus fixed fee, and hard bid.
Chuck ZELL got his professional start at an early age by working hard in the Hospitality field. After attending UCF and obtaining a degree from the Rosen school of Hospitality Management he was soon awarded with the schools first professional achievement award. Since then he has opened, operated, built and designed countless restaurants, bars and clubs. His leadership and management skills lead him to shift his focus on the construction side as a superintendent with AMH Construction. Knowing the ends and outs of this specialized business makes him an asset to consult with his skill set. His goals are to grow the company with his positive performance and continue the company’s focus in field of busines operations and airplane hangers for private airports. Chuck enjoys entertaining for his friends, off-shore fishing, golf and Buffalo Bills football.
Building upon over 16 years of experience in all phases of general construction, Steven brings a strong foundation of understanding and insight to his position as Foreman. Steven is responsible for managing all field staff, safety, self-performed work, and quality control. He works with project superintendents to provide the unique staffing needs designed for each project.
Having lived primarily in Odessa Texas Steven’s familiarity with the unique building environments and conditions strengthens his ability to plan and manage for the AMH Construction Team. He has been involved with many different types of projects including design-build and design-assist, commercial, hospitality, entertainment, medical offices, higher education, residential, and restaurants.
Adam Borger is the Lead Estimator at AMH Construction and has over 13 yeas of experience in the commercial and multifamily industries. One of the things that sets him apart from other professional estimators is Mr. Borger’s extensive field experience. Prior to transitioning to estimating and pre-construction services, Mr. Borger spent a number of years a commercial framer before he began running work in the field as an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and then a Project Manager. This time in the field is key to the success the Mr. Borger has experienced in his career.
Prior to AMH Construction, Mr. Borger spent most of his corporate career as a buyer for a top ten national homebuilder and developer in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Borger has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Drexel.
Being an Accountant at AMH Construction, Amanda supports project management teams by managing contracts and other administrative tasks that contributes to the success of the project.
Amanda brings a well-rounded background in construction, banking and insurance to her role at AMH. She is adept at office administrative tasks, works well with others in a team environment and maintains a high level of customer service to both clients and internal staff.
Amanda oversees subcontracts and the accounts payable/receivable billing functions. She brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a high level of customer service. In addition, with a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Amanda provides constructive ideas and perspectives to help enhance support for operations and the field.
Aaron Oaks has a construction back ground that includes 5 years experience building liner and concrete pools. He has orchestrated countless teams to be on schedule and under budget as a leader and work experience skill set. His eager attitude and willingness to jump right in has earned him a trustworthy spot with AMH and already has numerous bars, restaurants and build outs under his belt. As an assistant to the superintendant, Aaron has been instrumental providing support helping the company to make deadlines possible. Arron’s love for music has lead to become an incredible drummer where he enjoys playing concerts for several bands in the central Florida area.
